Mavoro Ladies Club

This is an independent society formed in 1978 by the wives, girl friends and lady supporters of the choir as a social club, support group for the choir and charity organisation.

The meetings are held on the first Friday each month and take the form of a social evening with an invited speaker followed by light refreshment and fund raising raffle. A number of additional events are organised throughout the year for social and fund raising reasons and at the end of the year the ladies are pleased to be able to distribute various sums of money to many deserving charities.

The Male Voice Choir is indebted for the work of the ladies at special choral events organised by the choir. The ladies play a valuable part as hostesses and providing refreshments for visiting guests and choirs. In addition the choir appreciates the financial donations received from the ladies.
